Island View Calls Rev. Kevin Andrew Collison as Senior Pastor

       As Island View basks in the glow of a wonderful and memorable 50th Anniversary weekend, it is excited about the start of the next 50 years with Rev. Collison leading the way. He began his ministry in the pulpit on Father’s Day, June 20, 2010.

       He was born and grew up in Pasadena, Texas and was educated at Dallas Baptist University and the George W. Truett Theological Seminary. He also did his Clinical Pastoral Education (Chaplaincy program) right here in our backyard at the Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville.

       He has had experience as a Minister of Music as well as serving as Pastor. He is married to the lovely Andrea, and they have one daughter, Karis.
